Spotlight Boogie 3vs3 Popping Battle
STUDIOWU FEAT. POPPERS ACTION PARTY
PRESENTING TO YOU : SPOTLIGHT BOOGIE – 3 ON 3 POPPING BATTLE EVENT.

TIME = 730 – 930PM
VENUE = THE HEEREN SHOPS (FOUNTAIN AREA)

BATTLE FORMAT
This involves a 3 on 3 dance battle competition, where each shows off their strengths through the dance style, Popping.
The Popping category will be open to the public.
A preliminary round will be held to shortlist to 8 teams in the case of an overwhelming response.
Preliminary round will be 1 minute per team, 2 teams will dance to the same song spinned by the music Dj.
It will be conducted in a battle style, where the Top 8 will compete for quarterfinals, subsequently to Top 4, and to the final Top 2.
The team that wins the final will get to battle members of Poppers Action Party
Teams will be randomly placed for the Top 8 positions through balloting.
Music for each battle will be played accordingly by the music Dj on that day.
For the battle format, each team will take turns and present their Popping finesse for 1 minute per round. Since it is a 3on3, there will be a total of 6 rounds.
For each round, competitors will be battling out for 1 same song.
For extra round, each team can only send out 1 person to represent them. The round will last for 1 minute.
By bottle spinning or coin flipping, that will determine who goes first for each battle.
Not abiding to the time limit will be penalized.
No physical contact, vulgarity, or obscenity is allowed throughout the battle. Any competitors guilty of the above mentioned will be immediately disqualified.
Contestant, who does not turn up or late for their turn, will be disqualified.
There shall be no replacement of contestants throughout the tournament.
The judges’ decision is final and no appeal will be entertained.
Timer only starts when the team starts to freestyle or do routine
